Everyone at this blacklight, glow-in-the-dark dance party will receive a pair of headphones to tune into DJs Niko Flores, MAE, and DJ MetroGnome on 3 different channels; spinning 80s, 90s, and 00s pop, today’s top hits, and EDM music! Find people who are listening to the same songs as you by the color of the light on their headphones, and dance to the same or different tunes simultaneously! Just adjust the volume and channel with the flip of a switch.

Wear your best and brightest colors to glow beneath the black lights, strobe lights, and disco ball!

NIKO FLORES

Recently, Niko has played at the NCAA’s Division I College Football Playoff National Championship for 2020. In 2018, Niko competed and won Campus DJ’s competition, naming him as the top collegiate DJ in the US. Niko spent 4 years of his DJ career as one of the Indiana Pacers’ DJs for home games. He’s a recurring talent performer at Fifth Third Bank’s exclusive annual fundraising event, Rev Indy, which is hosted at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and supports the Indiana University Health Foundation’s trauma and critical care programs.

With 7 years of experience, Niko has been DJing clubs, weddings, formal & informal events, collegiate events and dances, school-sponsored events, and festivals since he was 17. He has supported numerous internationally-acclaimed acts including Post Malone, RL Grime, Fetty Wap, DJ Craze & Four Color Zack (2 Cents), & many more.

Niko’s passion for all types of music and his desire for those he’s playing for to have a good time has led him to be especially skilled at developing events into high-paced experiences by incorporating turntablism, live drumming, and live music remixing. To further immerse himself into the music industry and develop his craft, Niko has been a DJ instructor at Indianapolis’ premier DJ school, Deckademics, for the past 6 years. Finding ways to connect and give back to his community, especially the underprivileged youth, is of high importance to Niko and is something that he focuses on while at Deckademics.

DJ MetroGnome

A sleeper in the Midwest, DJ MetroGnome is carrying Indianapolis on his back. Representing the school of thought that quality music deserves being in heavy rotation, you can find him at any one of his weekly residencies dropping gems. Whether it be boom bap hip hop, dusty funk, undeniable reggae & dancehall, feel-good house, uptempo party bangers, relaxing down-tempo and soul, future classics or random throwbacks from decades prior, you will find yourself moving to or inspired by the music.

Having established himself as Indy’s “go-to” DJ for many of the city’s best parties, special events, concerts, and countless clubs, both locally and nationally, he is always providing an outlet for the people to experience an alternative to the mundane, copy-cat ways found far too often in the nightlife and music scenes. Spinning records has also taken him across the country, playing in venues in many cities and states, as well as backing up Grammy-winning artist Ludacris in concert and opening for hip hop icons Rakim, Method Man, Ghostface, Lupe Fiasco, Scarface, Big K.R.I.T. and Talib Kweli to renowned soul artists Charlie Wilson (of the Gap Band), Dwele, Foreign Exchange and many others. Additionally, as part of Old Soul Entertainment and Class of 93 Promotions & Marketing, MetroGnome has conceptualized and created countless special events and themed parties, learning the art of pulling in the people.

Likewise, DJ MetroGnome has forged a strong relationship with Red Bull as the primary DJ for Indiana as well as being selected to represent the Red Bull Music Academy for a number of years. Additional clients include Adidas, LRG, Budweiser, Skull Candy, Butler Toyota Scion, Formula 1, USA Track & Field, McDonalds, Indiana Black Expo convention, Indianapolis Motor Speedway and many others.

MAE is an emerging Indianapolis DJ frequently performing alongside other local legends at INVY Nightclub.
