As one of Indy’s newest rooftop hangouts, the Cannon Ball Lounge has quickly risen to the top — it has something for everyone with a selection of mocktails + events to keep the party going. Pro tip: This Sunday from 5-11 p.m. it’s hosting a “Rooftop Vibes Day Party” with local DJs. Pivot Bar and Balcony | Hyatt Place, 130 S. Pennsylvania St.
Enjoy a chef-driven menu + craft cocktails with a view of the home of the Indianapolis Pacers. The 3,000-sqft balcony has fire pits, comfortable seating, and big-screen TVs. Pro tip: Visit on a Wednesday at 7 p.m. for trivia night. |

Rooftop Garden Cocktail Lounge | 1105 Prospect St.
It’s the top tier view of the skyline for us — especially during sunset. This cocktail lounge on the top floor of the Fountain Square Theatre Building is open seasonally seven days a week, weather permitting. Pro tip: Guests under 21 and pets are not permitted + it does not accept reservations. Plat 99 | The Alexander, 333 S. Delaware St.
This newly updated space serves up local craft beers and a rotating cocktail menu that can be paired with house-made pastries and small plates. Pro tip: On Fri., July 8 from 6-8 p.m., it will be hosting a “Bubbles + Beats” party with a local DJ, surprise guests, and a special cocktail menu. |

Editor's pick: Fan of the Mystery Machine? I know another place you can catch it this summer — The Children's Museum. Mark your calendars, parents. The next Museum by Moonlight event for adults 21+ is on Sat., Aug. 27 from 8 p.m.-midnight with a silent disco, food, drinks, and entertainment. I love the idea of an adults-only night at the museum so the older crowd can enjoy the museum without having to keep an eye on the kiddos. 🕺
